Obituary of Pieternella Bolt

BOLT " Pieternella (Nellie) Bolt went to be with her Saviour on Sunday, October 21, 2007. Predeceased by her husband, Reender, she is survived by her children Ingrid (John) Cazakoff of Shaunavon, Joanne (Don) Hamrick of Central Point, Oregon, Dianne (Bruce) Nixdorf of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren, Lindsay (Jason) Cockrum, Brittany, Jeremy and Jaime Cazakoff, Rhyce, Riley and Royce Nixdorf. Mom was an only child, born in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands on November 15, 1924. In 1952 she immigrated to Canada and was married to Reender Bolt in Winnipeg in 1952 and eventually the couple settled in Melville. Over the last few years, Nellie was a resident of the Balcarres Extended Care Home where she enjoyed participating in many activities, visiting with fellow residents and care workers. She will be missed by her fellow residents, staff and family. A Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina on Wednesday, October 24th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
