Obituary of Elsa Schram
SCHRAM " Elsa Schram, born April 21, 1908, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007. Predeceased by her husband, Ralph Schram; partner, Oswald Mang; parents, John and Caroline Mang; brothers and sisters, Ludwiga (Richard) Wolfe, Regina (Martin) Huber, Caroline (Conrad) Kleiner, Walter (Helen) Mang, John Mang, Katherine Mang, Herman Mang, Ernest Mang, Alma (Ted) Roycroft, Egon Mang, Ruth (Walter) Schram and Eric (Gertrude) Mang; and brothers-in-law, Walter Huber and Tom Howarth. Elsie is survived by her sisters, Vera Huber and Charlotte Howarth; sisters-in-law, Freda, Carolyn, Mary and Beth Mang; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie was born at Edenwold, SK. She started work at the Hotel Saskatchewan as a teenager and continued working there until her marriage to Ralph Schram on December 7, 1941. She then went on to work for the T. Eaton Company for thirty-five years and was best known as the manager of the jewelry department. Ralph passed away in 1965. She then spent many happy years with Oswald Mang until his passing in 1991. In her retirement she continued to enjoy the company of friends and family and most of all continuing to live in her own home. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Kirk Tastad officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at the Pasqua Hospital for their care of Elsa.
