Obituary of Dianne Elaine Phillips

PHILLIPS " On Wednesday, November 7, 2007, Dianne Elaine Phillips passed away peacefully at Wascana Grace Hospice, Regina. Born in 1934 at the Winnipeg General, daughter of Ross and Ivy Fraser of Grenfell, the family moved to Indian Head three years later where Dianne was raised and educated. Upon graduation from high school, Dianne took a business course at Balfour Tech and was subsequently employed by SaskPower until her retirement in 1987. Dianne and Edgar (Budd?) were married in 1965 and were very active golfing, curling, and cross-country skiing. Dianne was also very involved in her church. Predeceased by her parents, Ross and Ivy Fraser; and sister-in-law Mimi Phillips. She leaves to mourn her loving husband and best friend, Budd Phillips; sister Sandra (John) Buchanan of Shawnigan Lake, B.C.; brother-in-law Gerald Phillips of Estevan; niece Barbara (Brian); nephew Joey (Bonnie); and several cousins. Memorial Service will be conducted at St. Lukes Anglican Church, 3233 Argyle Road on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Canon William Lourens officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Dr. S. McMillan, the staff at Wascana Grace Hospice for all their kindness and to the many friends and neighbors who were there for us, especially Clara and Don, Katie and Joe. Flowers gratefully declined.
