Obituary of Loretta Helen Jaworski

JAWORSKI, LORETTA HELEN (nee Muchowski) April 5th, 1950 " November 20, 2007. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Helen Muchowski. Loretta is survived by her loving husband, Gord; and her sons, Todd (Jenn), Boyd and Evan; her special uncle, Jim; brothers, Lawrence (Sylvia) of Provost, Edward (Galyna) of Calgary, Patrick (Gail) of Odessa; sisters, Marge (Darrel) Hergert of Calgary, Maureen (Leonard Wolbaum) of Vibank; aunts, Rose and Francis of Candiac; uncle Allan of Glenavon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Edna of Regina; and all of Gords family. Loretta grew up on a farm three miles south of Odessa. She took all her schooling in Odessa and went on to university in Regina. While studying to become a teacher, she met Gord. They were married in 1972. Loretta taught school in the Buffalo Plains Unit for over 30 years, retiring in 2003. Loretta loved her family, her friends and her dogs. She was more concerned for their well-being than her own. Loretta loved the outdoors, gardening, wildlife and woodworking with Gord. She loved to bake and make jams. She would trod through three feet of snow in -40 degree weather to fill the bird feeders. On the morning of November 20th an angel was called home. The family would like to thank Dr. Salim and his nurse Donna, Dr. Clein, Dr. McMillan and all the nurses in Palliative Care. A special thanks to Lorettas sister Marge, Gords sister Dianne, Pat and Gail, Auntie Lois, Uncle Jim, friends Marilyn, Jeanette, Ev and Brian, Rosemarie and Dale and Susan for all they did when it was needed most. In lieu of flowers donations to either Regina Palliative Care Inc., 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina S4T 1A5 or the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina S4P 3G7 would be appreciated. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Cross R. C. Church, 315 Douglas Avenue East with Rev. Norman Marcotte presiding.
