Obituary of Geneva Louise Blashill

BLASHILL - Geneva Louise (Wineinger) 82, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2007. She was born on September 19, 1925 at Belleville, Kansas. Geneva lived a life of great adventure and travel, spending her last 25 years living in Florida as a caregiver to many people young and old, and in Regina she spent her days as an avid gardener to satisfy her passion for farming. In her spare time she loved to cook and craft with loved ones and lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Geneva was born to Carl Otis Wineinger and Daschie (Lignitz) Wineinger. She was predeceased by two brothers Orville and Ross and two sisters Winona and Nellie. She leaves to mourn a sister Wilma Woodcock, a brother Carl Lee Wineinger, sister-in-law Alice (Rhine) Wineinger, and special cousin Phyllis Schuette, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and distant family members. Geneva is survived by her 5 children: Carl (Laurie), Louise (Brian) Krienke, Wayne (Sheila), Ronnie (Kathy) and Donna (Leonard) Martin; 14 grandchildren: Heith and Tricia, Tom, James (Lindsay), Jude (Audrey), Luke, Chantal (Chris), Embury, Michael, Jason, Myles, Josh, Jessie, and Tiah; and, 11 great grandchildren: Madysin, Haley, Eysten, Hannah, Syanne, Avery, Breanna, Nephi, Megan, Elias and Knighton. She will always be missed but never forgotten, and one day we shall all be reunited with our dear Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend. A sincere thanks to all at Elmview Extendicare for their love and attention through to the end. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at The First Baptist Church, 2241 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK Canada, Rev. Dr. Mark G. McKim officiating.
