Obituary of Florence Josephine Renwick

RENWICK " On Thursday, November 29, 2007 Florence Josephine Renwick, late of Milestone, passed away at the age of 88 years. Florence was predeceased by her parents, William and Josephine Beck; her husband, Ken (December 5, 2000); her brother Russ Beck; her sister Dorothy Heiberg; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Florence is survived by three sons, Rick (Rheta), Doug (Jacqueline), and Dee; grandchildren, Jeff (Denise), Brent (Deena), Darcy (Patrick), Corinne (Todd), Sharolyn (Todd); ten great-grandchildren, Max, Sydney, Nolan, Jenna, Mackenzie, Jonah, Jordan, Mikaela, Joshua, and Clark; sisters, Bernice Knouse and Colleen Taylor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was a life time member of the Prairie Circle, being the treasurer for many years. She was known for her popcorn balls, made mostly at Halloween and the Renwick home-made ice cream at Christmas. She enjoyed gardening and planting her flowers on the farm and later at Carrington Court in Milestone. She will be missed by all. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Milestone United Church with Rev. Kevin Johnston officiating. Interment in Milestone Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
