Obituary of Vera Hlavsa

HLAVSA " Vera Hlavsa, born on January 2, 1918, Arbury, Saskatchewan, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Vera was a generous and loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all. Predeceased by her parents Ann and Joe Smidt; her first husband Louis Nargang and her second husband William Hlavsa; son-in-law Orval Rennie; ten siblings, Lesley, Joe, Frank, Andrew, Alex, Eva, Mary, Martha, Rose (Veras twin) and Elizabeth, she will be missed by her daughters, Dorothy (Denzil) Watt and Milda Rennie; grandchildren, Deron Rennie and Leah (Jeff) Lindskog; sisters-in-law Emma Smidt and Betty Orpe; as well as numerous members of her extended family. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne R.C. Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina, with Rev. Thomas Nguyen presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
