Obituary of Betty Peterson

PETERSON, Betty The family of Betty Peterson is sad to announce her passing on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Abram and Tina Brandt; her husband Samuel in 1986; her sisters Kay Pickford, Elsie Reimer, Anne Carter; and brother Elmer Brandt. Betty is survived by her sister Gertrude (Trudy) Jones; sister-in-law Ivy Brandt; daughters Joan Donison (Lee) of Regina, Iris Bissett (Jerry) of Saskatoon; and sons Don Peterson (Marlene) of Kannata Valley and Robert Peterson of Montreal; fourteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Betty and Sam worked together in their business for many years, and traveled the world together during their 52 years of marriage, including many winters in Mesa, Arizona. Betty also enjoyed supporting several overseas foster children. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bettys life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Jack Oglesby officiating.
