Obituary of Marvin Kenneth Ahl

AHL " Marvin. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of our beloved father and friend on Monday, December 10, 2007, at the age of 79 years. Marvin was born on June 21, 1928, in Hume, SK. Marvin is survived by his children: Terri, Patti (Tom) Bell of Edmonton, and Barry. He is also survived by his sister, Phyllis Smith of Saskatoon; his brothers: Allan (Carol) of Nelson, BC; and Ken (Grace) of Regina; his sisters-in-law: Fran Ahl, Elsie Thurmeier, Clara Fiege, Carol (Bill) Kevol, Irma Fiege, and Leona (Ernest) Fry; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Marvin is predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Eleanor, with whom he is happily reunited. Marvin is also predeceased by his parents, Esther and John Ahl; his parents-in-law, Godfred and Augustina Fiege; his brothers: Stanley, Gerald, Edmund, and Lawrence; his brothers-in-law: John Thurmeier, Kasper Fiege, Carl Fiege, Erhardt Fiege, and Walter Hufnagel; and his sister-in-law, Lydia Hufnagel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue with Reverend Carla Blakley officiating. Interment, at a later date, in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be make to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina S4P 2R3.
