Obituary of Eldora Lawrence

LAWRENCE - Eldora (Sue) Rose Lawrence (nee Harding) of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away December 15, 2007 at the age of 78, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her husband of 54 years Elwood, sons Doug (Debra) of Regina and Ken (Debra) of Vegreville, Alberta. Sue also leaves her five grandchildren, Brandy (Greg) Fingas and Mathew of Regina, Joshua of Saskatoon, Jared and Kara of Edmonton, Alberta and her sister Dorothy Koenig of Melfort, Saskatchewan as well as family and friends. Sue was predeceased by her parents Ben and Mary (Youngh) Harding, brother Gordon (Benny) and sister Evelyn. Sue touched many lives over the course of her time here on earth. Never one to complain, and always concerned about the welfare of others, she endeared herself to anyone that crossed her path. She was an avid bowler and loved the social interaction that it brought to her life. Family has always been important to Sue and her greatest memories were of family dinners together where her entire family gathered to celebrate an occasion and indulge in Mom/Gramas home cooking. Special heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and staff at the Pasqua Hospital Medical Unit 4A and the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic. A Memorial Service to celebrate Sues life will be held on Wednesday December 19th, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
