Obituary of John Ritsco

RITSCO " John Ritsco passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007. Predeceased by his wife Mary; parents Serghie and Horpina; sister Mary; brothers Dan, Gilbert, Wes, Art and Jack. He was born November 20, 1916 to Serghie and Horpina Ritsco. John is survived by his son Raymond and grandchildren, Tina (Joe Delaney) of Lethbridge, AB, Pam (Gary) Willman of Saskatoon, Cherie (Josh) Barr of Bozeman, Montana and their daughter Izabel, Chad of Regina; sisters-in-law, Mary Ritsco, Vera Ritzco; and many nieces and nephews. John attended Excelsis School and enjoyed being in touch with his grandchildren and their families. He enjoyed following baseball, politics, playing cards and dancing. Requiem (Panachyda) will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Rite will be held on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue with Rev. Brent Kuzyk officiating. Interment will be held in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 2075 McDonald Street, Regina S4N 2Y4 or to a charity of ones choice.
