PEART - Julia Peart (nee Manastyrskij) 1912 " 2007. Julia Peart passed away peacefully in her sleep at 5.00 a.m. on Monday, December 24th, 2007. Julia is survived by her brothers, Charlie (Marlene), Morley (Ester), Floyd (Raynell); sisters Helen (Cyril), Ada, Joey and sister- in-law Mary, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins as well as her three grandchildren: Frederick "Fred" Holliss of Calgary, AB, Catherine Holliss (Whitney Sander) of Venice, CA, USA, and David Holliss (Jeanne) of Victoria, BC. Julia also left an extended family of loving friends. Julia was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Rosalia Manastryskij; siblings Louis, Ella, Emma, Jean, Matilda, Carol, Lynn, Joseph, as well as by her husband Milton Davidson Peart, her daughter Theresa "Terry" Holliss, and her companion James Watson. She led a full and active life visiting her daughter Terrys family in Indonesia and across Canada, especially in Calgary. In Regina, Julia was active for many years with the Lakeview United Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. Her passion for all things natural was reflected in her memberships to the Horticultural Society and the Museum of Natural History. Gardening was a particular joy for her and this is clear from the stunning backyard of her home at 2865 Cameron Street. She will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCallum Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, January 5th at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
