Obituary of Pui King Lee

PUI KING LEE (ne Yee) 1927-2012 Our beloved Mom and Grandmother passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 3, 2012 at the age of 85 years after a full and happy life. She was predeceased by her husband John Yiu-Chung, and several brothers and sisters. Pui-King is survived by her daughter Catherine (Andy) Chan; her granddaughters, Monica (Tom) Strauss of Toronto, Odelia (Alister) Chieng of St. Johns, Elita (Jason) Yaeck of Edmonton and Lareina Chan (fianc Chris Smith) of Regina; her great-grandchildren, Madeleine and Alicia Strauss, Kyler and Merrick Chieng, and Priya Yaeck; her brother, Walter (Lorraine) Yee of California; and several nieces and nephews from around the world. Pui-King enjoyed gardening, preparing Chinese fare, traveling, spending time with family and friends and a leisurely game of mah-jong or blackjack. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and always put the needs of her family first. She helped raise her granddaughters and adored her great-grandchildren. Pui-King will be sadly missed by her family and friends from both near and far. Visitation will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Full Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
