Obituary of Mabel Thiessen

THIESSEN, Mabel (nee Zaph) beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother left us to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, December 31, 2007. Mabel was born in Southey, SK on March 16 1917. She moved to the big city of Regina and married Abe Thiessen. Regina was their home where their three children were born and raised. Mabel was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church. Mabel was predeceased by her parents; two sisters; three brothers and one granddaughter. She is survived by her children Wayne (Hazel) of Kamloops, BC, Dianne (Jim) of Hope, BC, Terry (Marj) of Regina, SK; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Doris Wandler of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mabels family would like to thank her special friends at First Baptist Place for their kindness and caring. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Faith Baptist Church, 437 Broadway Avenue East with Pastor Darold Sauer officiating. A private family interment will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens prior to the memorial service. Flowers gratefully declined.
