Obituary of Clarence Murray Blohm

BLOHM " Clarence Murray, late of Regina Pioneer Village Nursing Home, formally of Kincaid, Saskatchewan, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2008. He was born in Regina, January 17, 1923, and was raised in the St. Boswells and Glen Bain areas. He lived most of his life in Kincaid where he worked for the Department of Highways Maintenance. Dad was a very social person and had a great wit about him. In 1992, Clarence and Vivian moved to Regina to be closer to family. Predeceased by his wife Vivian (2000), mother Selma Blohm and brother Archie Prigotzke. Clarence is survived by his daughters, Myrna (Neil) Wilson of Edmonton and Cyndy (Dale) Stricker of Regina; four grandchildren, Richard, Jillian, Jory and Scott; sister Irene (Robert) Wells of Swift Current; brother Mervin (Evelyn) Prigotzke of Regina; sister-in-law Marg Janzen of Regina; nieces and nephews. Thank you to his extended family, the RPV caregivers, who provided excellent care and compassion for Dad for the seven years he made Pioneer his home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Regina Pioneer Village Chapel, with Rev. James Otitoju officiating. Interment in Kincaid Cemetery at a later date.
