Obituary of Janet Margaret Beattie

BEATTIE, JANET (nee Blair) December 23, 1946 " January 9, 2008 We are deeply sad to announce that Jan passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a long courageous battle with cancer. Jan was predeceased by her father, Ken Blair. Jan is survived by her son Corey (Dawn) and their children Christian and Elijah, son Brett (Shonna) and their children Aiden and Ryan, daughter Jennifer (James Virgo), mother Muriel Blair, sisters Una Mae Blair (Dick Miller) and Frances (Ken) Pollock. A special thank you to all of the nurses, doctors, and supportive friends who made Jans fight against cancer a more peaceful journey. Jans wishes were for cremation and a private family memorial. Flowers are gratefully declined with donations to be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Friends of 3B, or a charity of choice. We will forever miss and never forget our mom, nan, daughter, sister and friend. All things pass, all thing that live must die. All that we prize is but lent to us and the time comes when we must surrender it. We are all travelers on the same road that leads to the same end until we meet again.?
