Obituary of Alma May Cornwell-Lawless

ALMA CORNWELL-LAWLESS (WHITE) Alma passed away on January 14, 2008 at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by her husbands, Oliver (Cornie) Cornwell and Frank Lawless; her parents Ira and Beatrice White; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Gus and Elsie, Buster and Jean and Jack and Euncie White. Alma is survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as the Lawless family. Alma was born and raised in Saskatchewan, her parents homesteaded at Bishopric. After attending Normal School in Moose Jaw, she taught school for a few years before marrying Oliver Cornie? Cornwell. Alma and Cornie spent most of their years together in Winnipeg. After Cornies death in 1992 she met and married Frank Lawless and they had five happy years together. Alma was a classy lady?, she had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a kind word for everybody. Her love for flowers was always satisfied by her husbands who kept her with a bouquet on her coffee table.
