CHARLES MURRAY McCOMBER

Murray passed away peacefully January 30, 2008 at Pioneer Village Care Home, Regina, Saskatchewan after a courageous struggle with Alzheimer Disease. Born September 28, 1934 in Lac Vert, Saskatchewan, the second son born to Walter and Annie McComber. Murray is predeceased by his parents, sisters Dorothy (Jestin) and Doris; brother Arnold. Murray is survived by his youngest brother Donald, his son Tim and family, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Murrays dynamic personality and entrepreneurial nature allowed him a wealth of success in the business communities of Melfort and Saskatoon only surpassed by his wealth of friends. Sports were Murrays passion in life. Though Murray was an avid curler and golfer he loved to play baseball, as well. His mild manner and the twinkle in his eye will sorely be missed and fondly remembered by his many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations made in the name of Murray McComber to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan Inc., #301 " 2550 " 12th Avenue, Regina S4P 3X1 would be appreciated. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lac Vert, Saskatchewan. The details of this service will be announced at a later date.
