Obituary of Steffie Smith

SMITH " On Friday, February 8, 2008 Steffie Smith (nee Hrycyna) passed away at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Antonina Hrycyna, Steffie is survived by her sons, Paul and Ken McConnell; granddaughters Amanda McConnell and Jeniffer McConnell. Steffie was born and raised on the family farm near Kuroki, SK. She finished school and came to Regina and worked at SaskTel before marrying Bill McConnell. Together they raised two sons, Paul and Ken, both of Regina. Steffie enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends over coffee. She spent her last years in the care of Regina Pioneer Village. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Parliament Community Church, 4011 Pasqua Street, Regina. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
