Obituary of Joseph William Watts

WATTS " Joseph William passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2008 at his home at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Mary Watts; his first wife, Olive; son, Earl; and brother Arthur. Joseph is survived by his sons, Jim of Regina, Rick of Vancouver, BC, Murray of Regina, SK, Joe Jr. of Beaumont, AB, Shawn Allen of Regina, Danny Allen of Penticton, BC; daughters, Sharon Wammer of Westbank, BC, Debbie Carton of Calgary, AB, Dawn Watts of Calgary, AB, Kathy Dergo of Saskatoon; thirty grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Elderbroom of Cornwall, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph grew up in Cornwall, ON. He lived in Toronto for a short time before moving to Regina in 1950. He attended grade school in Cornwall, ON. He obtained his Journeymans Electricians License in Regina. He began his career in 1951 before starting his own business, Dual Heating and Electric. Following that he became an electrician for the Saskatchewan Government until his retirement in 1987. Joseph was a jack of all trades and master of one! He loved music and playing the accordion and was also a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment in Cornwall, Ontario will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina S4P 2R3 or to a charity of ones choice.
