Obituary of Margaret Jean McKenzie

McKENZIE, MARGARET JEAN 1919 " 2008 Margaret passed away February 26, 2008 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Jessie (Monteith) McFadden and her brother Murray McFadden. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Harold; her husband of 63 years, Grant; daughter Roberta; son Stuart and his wife Debbie and granddaughters Sarah and Jessica. Born in Weyburn, Margaret moved to Regina after she married, living and raising her family on a farm east of Regina. When she and Grant retired they moved to Regina and spent many years enjoying family and friends and the activities of the Shriners. Margaret lived a long and full life with dignity and grace. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a past Queen and longtime member of the Daughters of the Nile. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Bob Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margarets memory may be made to the Wa Wa Shrine Patient Travel Fund, 2065 Hamilton Street, Regina S4P 2E1 or to a charity of choice.
