Obituary of Gerald Alan Evenson

EVENSON, Gerald WHITEY? On March 4, 2008, Whitey passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 82. Whitey is survived by his daughter Lisa (Adam Klaja); his son Kent (Colleen); and grandsons Joshua and Liam; his brother Maurice; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sylvia. He was predeceased by his parents Hollie and Mabel Evenson; his wife Jean; son Blair; brother Dennis; and sister Norma. Whitey enjoyed playing ball, golfing, curling, fishing and hunting with his family and friends. He was always ready for a card game, a polka fest or entertaining friends at his home on the farm, which he was so proud of. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 7:00 " 8:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008 in 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. A private family interment will be held at Earl Grey family plot.
