Obituary of Daisy Jean Mozylisky

MOZYLISKY " Daisy Jean passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 6, 2008 after a courageous three month battle with cancer. Daisy is predeceased by her parents Frederick and Katie Gorniak; sister Bernice. Lovingly remembered by her husband, Walter; children, Sheila, Alan, and Sandra (Steven). She will also be missed by her six grandchildren; her sister, Adeline (Marcel); brother, Fred (Rosalie); as well as many special nieces and nephews. Mom was born on November 21, 1941 in Montmartre. Mom touched the hearts of many people and will truly be missed. She cherished her children and grandchildren. Mom loved to garden, crochet, dance, visit and was always crafty. She was a pleasure to be around and enjoyed life. Mom passed away, like she lived, with strength, courage and dignity. The family would like to send a special thank you to Uncle Marcel and Auntie Adeline for the endless hours they spent with mom. The doctors, nurses and staff at the Allen Blair Cancer Clinic, Ward 3B, Ward 4D and the special people in the Palliative Care Unit. Donations in moms memory can be made to Regina Palliative Care Inc., 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK S4T 1A5. A service to celebrate Moms life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 a 10:30 a.m. with Rt. Rev. Mitrat Leonard Romanow officiating.
