Obituary of Isabelle Millicent May

MAY " Isabelle M. May on Sunday, March 9th, 2008 at the age of 88 passed away peacefully at home. Isabelle was born in Regina on June 18, 1919. Predeceased by her husband, Trevor in November 1984; her parents Elizabeth and Alexander Findlayson; sisters Jean, Elizabeth, Ruby (in infancy); brothers Alexander, James, Thomas, George killed in action RCAF in World War II and Harold. Isabelle is survived by her sons, Patrick of Regina, George and Karen and their children, Garrett, Matthew, Kristen of Regina Beach; daughter Sharon Thomas of Orville, California U.S.A.; grandchildren Sheila and Garry; two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Richard Fowler of Lemburg, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews. Isabelle was an active member in St. Lukes Anglican Church for many years. She was Past Queen, Daughters of the Nile, Anqet Temple #123. Mom was the greatest homemaker, enjoyed many happy summers and weeks with her family at the Regina Beach Home. She enjoyed singing, swimming, sailing, motorboating, reading and had a very great passion for her house plants. Mom most of all, loved her home, and family and will be sadly missed by all the people and friends that knew her for a long or short time. A Graveside Memorial Service will be announced later in the year with interment at Riverside Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
