Obituary of Calvin Herbert Elliott

ELLIOTT " Calvin Kelly? , born in 1926 in Rockglen, SK, passed away in Regina, SK on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by his parents, Rose and Arthur Elliott; sisters Edna and Lucy; brothers Del and Glen. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peggy; sons David (Laura), Greg (Betty), Brian (friend, Joyce); grandchildren Chris, Carman, Jon, Devin, Erin; great-grandchildren Alexis, Kiefer and Jorja. Kelly joined the army at a young age and served in Europe during the 2nd World War with the Regina Rifles. He returned to Canada in 1945 and married Peggy. They lived in Buffalo, NY for four years where David was born. They returned to Canada in 1950 where Greg and Brian were born. In 1951 Kelly joined the Regina Police Department where he served for 31 years. After retirement, he spent 25 years enjoying life and friends in Kannata Valley. Kelly was an honest and outspoken person. His children and grandchildren were very dear to his heart. Happy Hour with his friends was the next most important thing to him. The family would like to thank Dr. DeWitt and the nurses and staff at 4A and 4B at the Pasqua Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care.
