Obituary of Edward P. Selinger

EDWARD P. SELINGER Edward, late of Regina, SK and formerly of Lajord, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Anna Marie Selinger; in-laws Joseph and Florence Herauf; one brother; and one grandson. Edward is survived by his wife of 66 years Rose; six children Richard (Eleanor), Brian (Lynne), Gordon (Denise), Brenda, Michele (Paul) Legrand and Joanne (Scott) Symon; fourteen grandchildren; six-great-grandchildren, one brother, three sisters and their spouses and families. Since 1950, Ed was deeply rooted in farming at Speier Colony, Lajord, SK. Ed and Rose moved to Regina in 1974 but Ed continued farming until just a few years ago. For fun, he loved to polka, read, walk, explore family history and keep busy around Wintergreene Estates. Thank you to the staff of the Regina QuAppelle Health Region and Parkside Extendicare for your care of Dad. Rest in peace. Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower R. C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. Kenneth Miller celebrant. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
