Obituary of Carmel Cooke

COOKE " On Sunday, March 16, 2008, Carmel Cooke passed away peacefully in the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Unit 3-3 at the age of 82 years. Carmel was predeceased by her husband William; her parents Antonio and Rose; brothers, Louie, Joe, Alphie, Freddie, Johnny, Andre, Gene and Allan; sisters, Sarah, Lucy, Millie, Dora and Marie; son-in-law Walter. Carmel is survived by her children, Penny, Kane (Michele) and Cindy; grandchildren, Lisa (Gord), Toni (Lawny), Danny (Brandi), Chad, Bryan, Ashlyn and Billie; great grandchildren, Cameron, Kyle, Tyler, John, Katelyn and Nicole; brother Roger (Lorna); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family thanks all the special people at Wascana who took such good care of Mom. Also thanks to the Renal Unit at the General Hospital for all their care. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, 2180-23rd Avenue, Regina, with Rev. Don McNeil presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
