Obituary of Eunice Opal Stickel

EUNICE OPAL STICKEL (nee Arndt) May 4, 1928 September 13, 2012 Eunice passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband Fred and is survived by her four children Ronald (Brenda) Stickel, Gordon (Joan) Stickel, Loretta (Dave) Stickel and Susan (Craig) Pierce; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grand children. Eunice was born in Boise, Idaho. She enjoying living her life and embracing all around her. In her early years she was always on the go with new adventures. Eunice graduated with her grade 10 diploma at the age of 59 and at 60 she passed her drivers exam. She participated on a bowling team and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion ladies Auxiliary. Eunice had a three wheel bike that took her to the A.E Wilson Park and all over Dieppe Place. In later years the casino was one of her stops and she always came out on top winning extra money. Eunice spent a lot of time with her friends at the Northgate Mall. Later in life she moved to downtown Regina, close to Cornwall Center. She could always find a friend where ever she went, and had many friends at both malls. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jonathon Yanke officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam may be made to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, 204 3775 Pasqua Street, Regina, SK, S4S 6W8.
