Obituary of Clifford Anthony Hackett

HACKETT_ Clifford Anthony passed away March 20, 2008 at Pioneer Village, Regina, formerly of Lumsden, SK. Predeceased by parents William and Ida; Brothers Elmer and Bill. Sisters May Bailey and Hazel. He is survived by his son Bill (Elaine) of Lumsden, SK, Grandchildren; Ken, David and Brenda; Sister -in-law Anne of Prince George, B.C. Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Cliff worked at Molson's Brewery for 35 years and enjoyed his beer. He retired and started a market garden after 5 years he raised Appaloosa horses and was a member of the Appaloosa Horse Club of Canada. He was proud of his horses; Nelly, Chance and Buster. He lived life to the fullest by writing songs, singing, playing guitar and inventing apparatuses. Cliff was a Life Member of Royal Canadian Legion, Lumsden, SK, Branch 234. A big thank you to the staff of 4 West Pioneer Village for the compassion and care he received over the last 8 months, especially Julie, Barb and Sherry Joe, you all cared so much. Flowers gratefully declined, those so wishing may make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2360 2nd Ave, Regina, SK, S4R 1A6. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
