BRATUSHESKY, MARY (nee Schmidt) We are sad to announce the passing of Mary Bratushesky on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the age of 82. Mary is predeceased by her husband Adolph in 1994; her parents Herman and Rose; her brothers John and Ed; and sister Josephine. She leaves to mourn her sons Jim (Linda), Conrad (Linda), grandchildren Brian and Stacey of Maple Ridge, Wayne (Karen), grandchildren Bryce and Cole; brothers Bill Schmidt, Allan (Pauline) Schmidt; sister Bertha Folstrum; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was born November 3, 1925 in Markinch, SK. She met and married Adolph in 1946. They lived in Manor, SK for a time before moving to Regina. Mary settled into city life and raising her boys. Mary always took great pride in her home and her cooking. You never left hungry. If she wasnt in the kitchen you could always find her in the garden. Mary moved to her north end apartment and became a regular on Coffee Row? at the Northgate Mall, where we know she will be greatly missed by her friends. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Peters R. C. Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina with Rev. J. B. Okai presiding. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina S4T 7T1 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 " 2nd Avenue, Regina S4T 1A5 would be appreciated.
