Obituary of Donald Roy Putz

PUTZ " Donald Roy, late of Regina, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his parents, Rudolph and Theresa (Wagner) Putz; his beloved wife Mary, in 1991; brothers Arthur and Bill; and sister Olga, Don is survived by his son Will (Lee Mayer) of Regina; one granddaughter Mary (Chris) Barrow of Halifax, NS; and sisters Audrey (John ) Ritter of Edmonton, Marlene Domler of Tucson, AZ; beloved nephew Tom (Brenda) Rumpel of Calgary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was born and raised in Regina and on the family farm west of Regina. He married Mary Ladanowski in 1952. As a Regina businessman he owned and operated Western Wheel Alignment for 44 years, retiring in 1992. Don was an active member of the Regina Cosmopolitan Club since 1963. He was an avid fisherman and boater who enjoyed annual fishing trips in northern Saskatchewan with his fishin buddies? for over 25 years. Don was Mayor and a Councilor at the resort Village of Saskatchewan Beach for many years. A private interment took place on April 11, 2008 at Riverside Memorial Park. Remember Don in your prayers.
