Obituary of Alan Gordon Kernechuk

KERNECHUK - On Tuesday, April 15, 2008 Alan Gordon Kernechuk passed away at the age of 67 years. Predeceased by his parents George and Pauline; sisters Marjorie, Patricia, in infancy. Al is survived by his loving wife, Penny (Heal); children, Josh Sherris, Kirsten Kernechuk, Chelsea Kernechuk; sister Jane Willows; brother-in-law Bill Massey, aunt Victoria Peters; uncle Alec (Jeanne) Zazulak; numerous nieces and nephews; the Heal family. Al worked at SaskTel for 21 years. He left SaskTel to open Micro Shack, the first Micro Computer store in western Canada with his partner, Dave Claypool. Al also operated his own telecommunication consultant business till his passing. Requiem (Panachyda) will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Rite will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1305 " 12th Avenue, Regina with Rev. Brent Kuzyk presiding.
