Obituary of Peter Pilipchock

PILIPCHOCK " Peter Pilipchock passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Predeceased by his parents Theodozia and Peter; his sisters Mary (Michael) Komar, Ann, Katherine (Joseph) Halbgewachs, Rosalyn Sotkowy; brother-in-law John Deneschuk. Peter is survived by his sister Theresa Deneschuk and brother-in-law Joseph Sotkowy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Peter took great joy in farming from an early age, and took pride in bringing in a bountiful harvest. Visits from nieces, nephews and friends were greatly appreciated. Prayers will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto Street, Regina with Rt. Rev. Msgr. R. Luzney presiding. Interment will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Dysart, SK at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memoriam may be made to St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church 1757 Toronto Street, Regina S4P 1M5 or to a charity of choice.
