Obituary of Lynn Loretta Callele

Lynn Callele (nee Steffen) September 30, 1960 " April 18, 2008 Lynn is predeceased by her mother, Irene (Manderscheid) Steffen. She is survived by her loving and faithful husband Brian, her father Edwin Steffen of Prince Albert, her sisters Lori Steffen (Jeffery Hnatiw) of Winnipeg and Jayne (Scott) Johnston of Saskatoon and their daughters Courtney and Sara. Special thanks to all those who prayed for Lynn, and to those that took the time to show their love by visiting, writing, sending food and gifts, and phoning while she was in the hospital. Lynn fought a hard battle with cancer " and those are words she did not like to use, because they are about conflict. Lynn would rather have found words about love and peace than battle, but she never really found the right words. Her courage in the face of adversity astounded all that knew her. Her concern for others lasted to the very end. Lynn wanted everyone to know that she learned a lot, especially about her faith. She was truly loved by many people and will be remembered fondly. A memorial service and celebration of life will take place at Saint Michaels Retreat in Lumsden on April 28, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Family and friends welcome. Lynn requested donations in lieu of flowers to Regina Palliative Care Inc., 4F 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 1A5. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.speersfuneralchapel.com
