Obituary of Viola Catherine MacNaughton

MacNaughton " Viola Catherine passed away suddenly April 20, 2008 with her family by her side. Viola was born June 13, 1930, raised in Regina and was the youngest to Jack and Elizabeth Schaefer. Vi devoted her life to caring for her family and loved to read in her spare time. Viola is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne; her children Sherel (Doug) Matheis, Warren MacNaughton, Jan (Ray) deMoor; sister Irene (Ray) Holdner; brothers and sisters- in-law; cousins, as well as many nieces and nephews. Vi will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Craig (Cheryl), Garret (Ghia), Mitchell, Melissa and Blake. Vi attended Sacred Heart Academy and worked in the dental field then to marry Wayne in 1956 and began her dedicated care to house, home and family. Violas love for her family will never be forgotten by those who were so close to her. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association"Southern Saskatchewan, desired. Special thanks to EMS team, Dr. Paul, Dr. Ekong, Dr. Jerry, nurse Jackey and all of the Regina General Hospital Staff. Your caring and efficient efforts were so very much appreciated. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assinboine Avenue E., Regina.
