Obituary of Sidney Francis Hine

HINE - On Thursday April 24, 2008, Sidney Francis Hine, late of Regina (formerly of Newport, Wales UK) passed away peacefully at the age of 74, with his family at his side. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Sidney Hine, and his sisters Elsie Hine and Alma Hackwood. Sidney is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Margaret, daughters Theresa Lakeman (Dale) and Karen Schulze (Joffrey) of Port Moody, BC., grandsons Ayden Ell, Dylan, Christopher and Thomas Lakeman. He loved his family, friends, and pets and will also be missed by his dog Morgan, parrot Molly, and lizard Sean. Sid is now with his beloved cat Tiger. Sidney had a sharp sense of humour and always had a laugh or a story to tell, making him a treasure to us all. He had a great appreciation of his garden and was also an avid Liverpool soccer fan. Sid always kept in touch with his family and friends via the internet. A celebration of his life will be held at his home Tuesday, April 29th come and go tea beginning at 3:00pm at 2139 MacKay Street in Regina.
