Obituary of Donald Owen Coghlan

COGHLAN, DONALD OWEN - born September 22, 1927 in Elbow, Saskatchewan, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2008. Predeceased by his first loving wife Audrey; son Douglas; his devoted wife Mary Lou Stan; sister Jean Dart; brothers Bob and Jack Coghlan. Don will be remembered by his daughters Kendra (Bill) Flegel of Lloydminster, Alberta and Carla Coghlan of Victoria, B.C.; grandchildren Aaron Flegel and Anna Desborough; brothers-in-law Iver (Glenys) Clifton, Wayne (Anita) Clifton, Sherman (Eileen) Clifton, Burt Clifton (Donna); sisters-in-law Shirley (Charles) Van Kannel and Pat Coghlan; and members of the extended Coghlan, Clifton and Stan families. Don received his Bachelor if Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 1953, and was Chief Engineer, Department of Conservation and Land Improvement, Government of Saskatchewan, until his retirement. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 1:30 pm at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Private family interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
