MARTIN " Harold E. Martin, born July 5, 1919, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Harold is survived by his wife of 61 years, Esther; daughters, Jeanette (Les) Kish of Calgary, Marjorie Martin, Kathy James (Glyn Jones) of Edgeley, and Connie Martin; seven grandchildren, Laraine Kish (Gavin) and Colin Kish (Randene), Ryan (Kristin), Aiden (Sherri) and Sharla Demchynski, Stacey (Darren) Clarke, Sheryl James; four great-granddaughters, Madison, Aubrey, Kaitlin, Allison; sisters, Ella Ulrich, Ruth Faller and Alice Gellner, all of Regina; sisters-in-law Emma Martin of Cupar, Joan Martin of Calgary, Agatha Schuster of Regina; brother-in-law Wallace Schuster of Cupar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Adolf and Alida Martin; brothers Albert and Adolph; and sister Hertha Ford. Harold spent all his life in Southey District except for the last month when be became a resident of Regina Pioneer Village. He farmed in the Southey District until 1980 and then retired into Southey. For about forty years of his life he played the saxophone in an Old Time Band. He was an active member of his church and community. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Southey, SK with Rev. Harold Borchardt officiating. Interment in Southey Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Southey.
