Obituary of Simon Frederick Schneider

SCHNEIDER " Simon Frederick passed away in the Palliative Care unit at the Pasqua Hospital with his niece by his side on Friday, May 9, 2008 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Anna Maria Schneider (Seiferling), five brothers and two sisters. Simon is survived by one sister-in-law, Barbara Schneider and many nieces and nephews. Simon grew up in Kronau district where as a young man he played baseball and then farmed until his retirement in 1979 when he moved to Regina. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Marys R.C. Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina with Rev. Danilo Rafael officiating.
