Obituary of Helen Margaret Hubick

HUBICK " On Saturday, May 10, 2008, Helen Margaret Hubick, late of Pilot Butte, passed away at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by her parents, William and Ludwicka Butz; her husband, George, in 1996; brother Eddie Butz, sisters Martha Bell, Tina Scherle and Lenora Kiel. Helen is survived by her four children: Perry (Cheryl) Hubick of Regina, and their children Darren, Jordan, Kyle and Karla. Murray (Jackie) Hubick of Regina and their children: Dallas and Tyrell. Lori Hubick of Melville and Lana Hubick of Pilot Butte. She is also survived by her brother, Alfred (Mary) Butz of Earl Grey and sister Barbara (Harvey) Ring, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was a woman of great faith in God and was devoted to her family and friends. She touched many lives with her generous heart and loving personality. Her children and grandchildren could always count on her to be there with a big hug. Our home was always filled with love, laughter, and visiting friends whom she enjoyed deeply. Helen was always there to lend a helping hand, especially to those who were less fortunate. She was actively involved with volunteering her time with such charitable organizations as Samaritans Cupboard and Souls Harbour Mission. She was a long time member of the Golden Sunset Club in Pilot Butte, serving numerous terms as the President. It was time, not the time any of us would have chosen, yet it was Gods time. Helens work was complete here on earth but her influence will live on. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4th Avenue N., Regina with Pastor Terry Defoe officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
