Obituary of Eileen Nellie Violet Love

EILEEN N. V. LOVE (March 3, 1923 " May 15, 2008) Fittingly during Nurses Week, Eileen N. V. Love died peacefully on May 15, 2008. Eileen emigrated from England with her family and settled in the Leslie area of Saskatchewan. She moved from there to Yorkton to complete her nursing training. After graduation as an R.N., she met and married her husband of 61 years, Howard Love. She nursed in Yorkton after her marriage and during that time had her three sons, James, Kenneth and Neil. The family later relocated to Regina where she nursed at the General Hospital and later at the Wascana Hospital where she remained until her retirement. Eileen leaves to remember her, her loving husband Howard, her sons, James (Joanne), Kenneth (Shelby) and Neil as well as many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren, and more recently, her great-grandchildren gave Eileen great pleasure. She enjoyed nothing more than a visit from her grandchildren or shopping for her great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her immediate family as well as her surviving brother and sister, Reg Harris (Prince Albert) and Dorothy Magnusson (Regina) and their families. A private memorial service for family members will be held later.
