Obituary of Norman Kiesel

KIESEL " The family sadly announce the death of Norm Kiesel on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Norm was predeceased by his first wife Edith; his brother Harold; and one sister Bernice Koch. He is survived by his beloved wife Jo; his sister Vera Merchant of Port Perry; his step-son Peter (Cyria) Lawn of Chilliwack and their family; step-daughter Sylvia Clarke of Surrey, BC and her family; as well as Jos family, Lyle (Lynette) Walton, Joanne Walton and Shelly (Jim) MacPhail and their family. He will also be sadly missed by his nephew Robert Merchant and daughter; niece Joan (David) Lane and two sons. Norm was born December 30, 1914 in Regina. He lived and was educated in Alameda where his dad owned the hotel. He joined the army in 1940 and served in Canada, England and Europe. He was a proud member of Wa Wa Shrine T-Bird Patrol for many years. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends in Canada, Europe and Hawaii. Aloha, Dear One?. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Private family interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
