Obituary of Annie (Anne) Catherine Victoria Ellis

ELLIS " It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin and friend ANNE CATHERINE VICTORIA ELLIS, on Friday, June 13th, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Anne leaves to celebrate her life, her son Jim (Anne) Ellis and granddaughters, Catriona and Ainsley from Fife, Scotland; her nieces Sandra and Patty McLean and nephew John McLean from Regina. She will also be sadly missed by her canine companion Ben. Anne was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob), 1998, her father Hector McLean, 1956, mother Mary, 1999, brother John, 1996 and sister-in-law Edna, 2007. Anne taught school in Saskatchewan and British Columbia for over 30 years and upon retirement, moved back to Saskatchewan to be with her family. Anne will be fondly remembered for her love of her family, children and animals. Special thanks to Dr. A.B. Lotz, Dr. M. Boen, Dr. S. Karunakaran, the staff of the Renal Dialysis Unit at the General and those who have cared for Anne during her times in hospital. Special thanks also to Carol Markwart for her help, love and kindness during this difficult time. At Annes request there is to be a private family burial at a later date.
