Obituary of Maisie Florence McEwen

MCEWEN " Maisie McEwen (Larratt) was taken to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 19, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Bill, and her parents, Bill and Maude Larratt of London, England. She is survived by her son Richard (Shirley) and their sons, Kevin (Tina) and Kelly (Melissa); her daughter Gail and her sons, Kim and Sean (Sophie). She will also be missed by seven great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; as well as her Aunt Florence Taylor of West Ewell, England. Maisie was born in London, England on June 21, 1923. During the war she met and married Bill and immigrated to Canada in 1946. For the next 55 years she resided on Charles Crescent where she raised and nurtured her family. In August of 2006 she moved to Saskatoon and resided at the Preston Extendicare where she peacefully passed on with her family at her side. Friends are invited to celebrate her life on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
