Obituary of George Henry Huber

HUBER " George Henry Huber passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2008 in the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Evelyn (Clein); brothers, Jim, Charlie and Matt; sisters, Bea and Ev. George is survived by special friend and long time companion Irene Callander; an extended family, Bonnie (Ken) Nichols of Regina and Bob (Doreen) Callander of Saskatoon, along with all their families; brother John (Regina) and sister, Joan (Beechy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George was born July 17, 1922 in Grayson, SK, moved to Regina where he attended school. He worked as a farm hand in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He then went to work in construction and later retired from Western Clay Products, after 28 years. George enjoyed to kick up his heels with a dance, he had a love for animals, but his real passion was to go fishing. He was a member of the Army and Navy Vets. George will be sadly missed but not forgotten. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 4, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 " 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon S7K 2H8 or the Regina Humane Society, P.O.
