Obituary of Albine Zacher
ALBINE ZACHER
Albine, born October 17, 1924 in Bischofsfeld, Ukraine, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2012 after a brief illness. Albine immigrated to Canada in 1957, married, and raised her two sons in Regina. Despite losing her husband at a young age, she lived independently in her own home until just prior to her death. Her home was her sanctuary, and she stubbornly clung to it and all that it represented. Albine was predeceased by her husband Matthias (1976); brother Viktor (1980); mother Thekla (1988); and her eldest son Robert (2003). She is survived by her son Eduard (Nancy); daughter-in-law Ava; grandchildren, Natasha and Elliott; nephews, Karl (Sandra) and Michael (Lynn) and their families. Funeral Service will be at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to the charity of your choice.
