Obituary of Roy Fred Bien

BIEN - On Thursday, July 30, 2008 Roy Fred Bien passed away at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by two daughters, Barbara and Susan; two brothers, Robert and Herbert; and one sister, Leona. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Doris; one son, Richard (Debbie) of Red Deer; two daughters, Patti (Grant) Engel of Winnipeg, Debbie (Doug) Eklund of Regina; nine grandchildren, Peggy-Sue, Lori-Ann, Shawn, Andrea, Christopher, Leissa, Tracey, Jodi, Jeffrey; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and brother, Clarence of Moose Jaw. Roy served overseas in the R.C.A.F. during World War II as a wireless air-gunner. After working for the Saskatchewan Liquor Board for 34 years, he retired in 1979. The family wishes to thank the staff of Unit 4A at the Pasqua Hospital for their care of Roy. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Rev. Ronald H. Sutton officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
