Obituary of Evelyn MacNeill

MacNEILL, Evelyn. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Evelyn MacNeill, our sweet mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away in the early morning of August 1st, 2008. She was lovingly cared for and surrounded by her ten daughters. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd MacNeill (April 4, 1992), her father, Paul Uhren and mother Johanna Uhren, six brothers and one sister. She is survived by siblings Herbie Uhren (Maddie), Helen Lowe, Annie Grainger and Adeline Priest. Evelyn leaves behind ten daughters, Dawn Durnin (Stephen), Judith Ciuca (Gordon), Debbie Moffatt (Moe), D'Arcy Rattray (George), Kim Waters (Donnie), Marcia (Scot) Rutherford, Laurie MacNeill (Rick Bezugley), Robin MacNeill (Joe Westfall), Dana MacNeill (Mike Grob), Stephanie (Lonnie) Tyschinski, twenty-two grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Evelyn's capacity to love knew no bounds. The warmth she radiated drew all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren close to her. Mom, you will be sadly missed by your ten daughters but will live on forever in our hearts. Our only comfort in your passing is knowing that you are again in the loving arms of Dad. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Zia Rehman and all of the staff of 5A at the Regina General Hospital for their excellent care and support. A FUNERAL MASS WILL BE HELD AT St. Cecilia R. C. Church, 5020 - 7th Avenue, Regina on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined, although donations may be made to a charity of choice.
