Obituary of John Christian Benz

Benz, John Christian July 28, 1915 - August 3, 2008 John and Maryanne united again. John passed away August 3, 2008. He will be missed and remembered by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gary (Georgina), their children; Cassandra (Nathan) Peterson, Kimberley (Scott) Hastings (Sydnee); Brian (Marilyn) and their children; Leah (Kevin) Evans, (Jax, Maya, Scott and Kayla); Erin (Duane) Chicoine (Madeline); Cara (Craig) Tramer (Vienna); Donald (Marjorie) and their children; Kirk (Randeah); Shanan (Carla) (Alexis, Madison); Tatum (Kara). John will also be missed by his sisters: Mary Ackerman, Emma Barrie, Rosalind (Clarence) Shank and Lauretta (George) Kress. John was predeceased by his wife Maryanne, son Wayne, his parents Martin and Julianna Benz, mother and father-in-law Peter and Felicia Gartner; brothers Steve, Martin, Mike and Frank; sisters Georgina Fabian and Theresa Warring. We wish to thank the nursing staff of 3.3 at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for their support and care of our father. Flowers are gratefully declined. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
