Obituary of Archibald Morton

MORTON, ARCHIBALD STUART June 21, 1930 - August 9, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, Stuart. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Christena; parents-in-law Clive and Lillian; sister-in-law Darlene; niece Heather; and nephew Daryl; Stuart is survived by his loving family - wife Loretta, of 56 years; daughters, Arlis (Marcel) Shivak, and Debra (Duane) Cookson; dear grandchildren, Jodi Cookson (Barry Kydd), Krista (Brent) Evans, Sean, Tenille and Michael Shivak; and great grandchildren, Jaiden, Griffin and Janelle Evans, who gave him so much delight and love. Stuart is also survived by his sister Mary (Howard); brothers, Ken (Helen), Rae (Betty), and Howard; as well as in-laws, Vi (Ernie), Sandy (Ramona), Opal (Ron), Alvin (Marjorie), Karen (Corny), Roald (Mary); and many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Stuart's wishes, there will be no funeral. A family graveside service will be held at the Morton Family plot in Lumsden. Flowers gratefully declined.
